Level Three – Silver Routines

1. Finding the Gaps

Spot the black and evenly distance five reds across the pink spot.

Playing the cue-ball from the same side of the table each time, pot a low black taking the cue-ball through each of the six gaps.

The cue-ball must pass the reds without cannoning them for the shot to count.

Allow up to six missed shots then award a score based on the number of gaps found.

If score achieved, record below.

2. Blue-Pinks

Spot the blue and pink.

Place the cue-ball behind the blue to start. Have up to three goes at potting three blues and three pinks in sequence.

The pink and the blue are re-spotted after being potted.

Award a point for each colour potted on the best go.

If score achieved, record below.

3. Break Offs

Set the table up for a frame of snooker.

With the table re-set each time, have six goes at breaking off bringing the cue ball back inside the blue to rest behind the baulk line.

For shot to count the whole of the cue-ball must come back to rest behind the baulk line and the reds must stay in the top of the table.

Award a point each time the shot is achieved.

If score achieved, record below.

4. Just Off-Cushion Pots

As shown, position six reds, each half a ball’s width from the top cushion.

Place the cue-ball at least two ball’s width from the top cushion behind the red nearest the top corner pocket. Pot the reds along the cushion into the same top corner pocket.

Award a point for each red potted.

If score achieved, record below.

5. Colours in Sequence

Line the colours between the pink and black spots as shown.

Take up to three goes to clear the colours in sequence.

Re-set the colours after each miss.

Award a point for each colour potted on best go.
