Fun with Colours – Silver is perfect for 20+ break makers and is a great way to measure progress.

There are six routines to do each with a maximum score of 27 points.

Routines

1. Pots Along Cushion

Evenly space the six colours tight against the top cushion as shown.

Placing the cue-ball over a ball’s width from the top cushion each time, pot the colours along the cushion into the same corner pocket.

2. Colours in Sequence

As shown, line the colours between the pink and black spots.

Placing the cue-ball for the first shot only, clear the colours in sequence.

3. Rest Pots

As shown, diagonally line the six colours a ball’s width apart between the pink and the middle pocket.

With the cue-ball placed each time, beginning with yellow straight pot each colour into the nearest top corner pocket. If left-handed put colours on the other side of table!

4. Colours Safety

Evenly line the colours in order between the blue and black spots.

With cue-ball played from behind the baulk line each time, clip off each colour in sequence returning the cue-ball back behind the baulk line. Remember to remove colour after each shot played!

5. Bottom Pocket Pots

Line the six colours a ball’s width apart as shown. Yellow is on pink spot!

Placing the cue-ball behind each colour in turn, straight pot the colours into the facing bottom pocket.

6. Anything Goes!

As shown, spot the colours and place a red on the lip of each pocket.

Attempt to clear the table, potting any ball in any order or sequence. Start anywhere. Planting one ball onto another or potting several balls at once is OK. The go ends when either a pot is missed or a foul is made.

Award a score based on the colours potted only!
