Form a pyramid of six reds behind the pink spot.
Play the cue-ball from the D to open the reds. Replace each red with the cue-ball and pot the cue-ball into any pocket
Count reds potted during the break off.

Play the cue-ball six times along the spots, within a ball’s width of tolerance either side, so that at least part of the cue-ball comes to rest between the bottom cushion and the baulk line.The cue-ball can strike the baulk cushion.

With the first red put on the blue spot, line six reds a ball’s width apart.
Place the cue-ball behind each red in turn and pot the six reds into the facing middle pocket.It does not count if the cue-ball follows the red into the pocket!

5. Clearing Up
As shown, place a coloured ball on the lip of each pocket. Then put six points on the scoreboard.
Clear the colours in sequence removing a point from the scoreboard each time a mistake is made.If a mistake is made, re-set the balls still to be potted and place the cue-ball by hand to continue the clearance.
Continue until no points remain or all the colours are potted.
