Mid-Range Rest Pots
As shown, tightly line ten reds in a diagonal from the pink spot.
Place the cue-ball each time pot the reds into the top corner pocket using the rest.
If left-handed put reds other side of table.
Award a point for each pot. Maximum score is 10.
Baulk Colours Rest Pots
Spot the colours.
Have five goes at potting the yellow or green with the rest so the cue-ball comes off the baulk cushion and past the baulk-line. Repeat this time bringing the cue-ball into the top half of the table.
Award a point each time the shot is achieved. Maximum score is 10.
Rest Cut Backs
Starting with the red nearest the top cushion on the black spot, evenly line ten reds as shown.
With the cue-ball placed each time, use the rest to cut back pot each red into the top corner pocket.
If left-handed play cue-ball from other side of table.
Award a point for each pot. Maximum score is 10.
Two-cushion Baulk Colours Rest Pots
Spot the colours.
Have five goes to pot the yellow or green whilst bringing the cue-ball around the baulk and side cushions to pass the baulk-line. Repeat this time bringing the cue-ball off two cushions into the top half of the table.
Award a point for each pot. Maximum score is 10.
Clear Colours with Rest
Spot the colours.
With the cue ball placed by hand for the first shot only, clear the colours using the rest.
After a miss, re-set the unpotted colours and the cue-ball. Re-start on the ball that was missed.
Record number of missed shots made. Maximum is 10.
